Final Week - Final Drafts!

1.  Copy and paste all paragraphs into one document

Call this document:  Final draft your name hour #

2.  Fix all corrections and insert transition sentences and the end of each paragraph.  Make sure that your text is in TNR (Times New Roman) and 12 font.  It should also be double spaced.

3.  In the header, you should have your last name and page number in the right corner.  (Go to insert, header and page number, page number)

4.  (Not in the header) At the top left of page 1:

     Your name

     My name (Ms. Patrow)

     Course name (English Literature)

     The date (day month year)

Title of Your Paper

5.  Add an introduction paragraph at the beginning of your paragraphs. 

           A. Hook

           B.  History time period major events

           C.  Author introductions and name of work

           D.  Thesis statement

6.  Add a conclusion paragraph at the end of your paper.  Go back to your intro. paragraph and reconnect to the hook and remind the reader what you talked about in your paper.  Mention the time period, your author's life and then your literary analysis recap will be a lot of your conclusion.

7.  Add the Works Cited to the end of the paper.  It should be on its own page.  (Ctrl + Enter will make a page break). Double check that this page is the last page number of your paper.  Make sure that your sources are alphabetized, have a hanging or reverse indent and you have used MLA format.  This page should titled "Works Cited".

8.  Update your outline and share it with me again

9.  Submit this through Google Docs by 7:00 am November 14

10.  Say "Hooray"  You did it!
